Artwork Specifications:

Colours

Make sure all colours are CMYK only. If your branding has very specific or special colours, please provide your branding guidelines and/or the correct CMYK breakdowns in either:

  • CMYK
  • Hex
  • RGB

In some cases, certain printers do not accept Hex colours when printing on garments, so we may match it to a specific PMS colour. While we will match it the best we can, we take no responsibility for any misrepresentation of your brand do to this.

Pantone Colours:

If you supply only a PMS colour (A.K.A. Spot Colour) and we need to convert it to CMYK – there is no guarantee that we can match it and we can only convert it to the closest CMYK equivalent and we take no responsibility for any misrepresentation of your brand due to this.

Bleeds:

Include a minimum of 3mm bleed around all edges for designs that extend beyond the edge of the garment.

Texts and Fonts Outlined:

Make sure all text is outlines (it means the text has been changed into an object to avoid potential font problems). This can also be termed as ‘Creating Curves’. If your artwork or logo has text, please make sure all fonts are either outlined or sent with the file (outlined is the preferred option.

Images:

Minimum 300dpi. If you use images in your artwork, make sure ALL graphic images (high resolution) are sent with the file.

QR Codes:

QR codes should be at least 40mm x 40mm in size to have the best scan result. We recommend dark ink colours printed onto lighter material colours.

Artwork Approval Process:

Once you submit your artwork, our team will review it for technical suitability and suggest the most appropriate printing method for your design.

We’ll provide a quote based on your customisation options and chosen printing method.

Upon approval and confirmation, we will create a digital mock-up of your uniform for your final review prior to production.
